Is Dade City Florida the "Begining of the End" for the Church of God?

You may have read about the church in Fayetteville, NC that said that their dwindling attendance had to be dealt with “by any means necessary,” and that they are ceasing all references to God in their Sunday services, small groups, outreach efforts, and printed materials, effective immediately.
“Talking about God has been an important part of our church’s fifteen-year history, but look, we have to stay true to our mission statement—Get butts in the seats and keep them there,” Teaching Pastor Mark Davidson told reporters, noting that the debt acquired just five years ago from a building and property beautification isn’t going to pay itself off.
“We’re a church, and like any other business, we have a bottom line. We’ve got to get more giving units in here and to do that, we are going to give customers what they want—which is not God.”
Instead of “God talk,” the church plans to offer Sunday messages focused on more relevant issues, like self-improvement, sports, movies, health, and positive thinking.
Asked if he expects any push-back about their new church policy, Davidson said yes. “But we have to do what we have to do. I, for one, am not about to take a pay cut.”
You may sit back and shake your head and say, “What are these small churches thinking?"
Sadly the alienation of God is not only happening in "The Small churches" it is also happening in the larger denominations also.
The Church of God’s website states that:
For over 125 years the Church of God has been a distinctive movement focused upon communicating the gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit. Presently, the Church of God has a world-wide membership of over 7 million with a presence in nearly 180 countries.
But just last year a small town Church of God church in Dade City Florida decided to remove all mention of “God” from its name.
They have changed their Facebook, email and even their church’s website to reflect their new name “minus” the name of God.
In a world where Christians are crying out about the school boards removing God and prayer from classrooms, what message are we sending out when we remove God Himself from the identification of His church.
That is a question that we thought that we would never have to ask.

new york city woman loses her temper, causes black hole to swallow her entire town
Anna, 26, of New York City, DC was in the middle of an argument with a colleague when her temper got so out of control, it formed a small black hole, which demolished the vast majority of her neighborhood. "I just couldn't take it anymore, and unleashed my forces at the person who was irritating me. I had no idea the energy of my rage could cause such destruction," says Anna. Despite the ruination her anger has caused, Anna says she has no regrets. "I actually wish I knew I had this ability sooner!" Anna laughs. "There are a lot of people and things I could have eradicated from my life in this way."

whale spotted in illinois river
A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri.
While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
