CWG Coral Project Commenting Software Upgrade Receives Praise

Recently the Coral Weather Gang upgraded their site's commenting software to Project Coral, replacing an anachronistic, buggy system that was the bane of many users. Coral gives commenters the ability to reach levels of frustration heretofore unassailable with previous software.

"I really like the new Coral commenting system since it helps me get angry and fight with my family members before 8 AM," said one long-time commenter from the cozy confines of the Prince William County Adult Detention Center. Another commenter stated, "I've upped the number of alcoholic drinks I consume as I try to figure out Coral's commenting display algorithm. Certainly, this helps the local economy."

A spokesperson from the Coral Weather Gang mentioned that the migration to Coral had gone smoothly and that only 98 percent of the regular commenters have quit using the site, falling way below the initial projection of 99.9 percent.

"We find this an absolutely fantastic result, confirming that the new commenting system is almost as reliable as the GFS 384-hour forecast. We could not be more pleased."

A highly placed source with knowledge of the situation expressed optimism about the next planned upgrade of Coral, dubbed Coral Prime. "I am absolutely convinced that Coral Prime will deliver on its promise to display comments within two days of comment submission," It said.

    whale spotted in illinois river

A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri.

While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
