Leaked Han Solo Script Sparks Reactions Over Graphic Subject Matter

Since the rights to the Star Wars Universe were acquired by Disney back in 2012, the company quickly got on the fast track to producing new feature films, much to the delight of nearly every science fiction fan in the world.

The Force Awakens, Rogue One and the upcoming The Last Jedi due in theatres December 15th will probably be enough to recoup the 4 billion dollars spent on purchasing the franchise. But some controversial scenes involving the back story of famed crime lord Jabba The Hutt may have some people thinking twice about seeing Solo: A Star Wars Story, which is slated for a May 2018 release and will tell the tale of the beloved smuggler in his early years.

Scripts from within the studio show Jabba The Hutt starting out as a member of a crime family on the desert planet of Tatooine, acting as the gang’s muscle. When a heist goes awry, the criminal organization quickly points the finger at Jabba, which results in a lengthy prison sentence. When Jabba refuses to cooperate with a group of Wookie prisoners - a large bipedal furred race - they corner him in the prison shower and brutally sodomize him.

After being released from prison, Jabba seeks revenge on his former employers that framed him, and eventually rises through the ranks to become the kingpin of the same gang that once saw him rot in prison. But depression caused by his sexual assault while incarcerated sets in and causes Jabba to gain weight, and develop a bigoted point of view towards all Wookies. One scene even goes as far to have Han Solo tease Jabba about being the victim of assault by threatening to “sic his Wookie on him” because he’s heard “they’ve really taken a liking to him.”

The film is not yet rated, but after hearing the news of this very adult subject matter, many parents have been very vocal about not allowing their children to see the upcoming Star Wars prequel.

Executives at Disney Studios could not be reached when asked about the scene in question and its graphic nature.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theatres December 15th and currently Solo: A Star Wars Story is scheduled for a May 25th, 2018 release.

    whale spotted in illinois river

A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri.

While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
