Conservative student admits double voting hoax

A university student who was behind several fake Twitter and Facebook accounts set up as "radical labour supporters" has come forward.
Daniel Aldridge, an undergraduate politics student and conservative party member has admitted the idea came from a gathering of local members.
"I tweeted that I'd voted for labour twice, some of the other members did the same thing. We all had several accounts set up and we just slightly changed the words to give it some brevity. I honestly thought it was just a bit of a laugh at first. I didn't expect it to go this far, or be picked up by Farage!"
Daniel has waived his right to remain anonymous because he now believes that this kind of campaign is damaging to the conservative party as much as Labour.
"Most of the members are incensed by this. Four of us have been suspended and the local chair has hinted at permanent expulsion. I regret being part of something which could damage the party I love and apologise wholeheartedly."
It goes without saying that these are ground-breaking statements from a suspended conservative party member and I hope the conservative party are prepared to make a public apology for the small matter of misleading the public
The local conservative party has so far refused to answer any of our questions and we have referred all of the evidence we have received to the parliamentary standards and local government commission.

    whale spotted in illinois river

A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri.

While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
