Sat. July 15th. while spending some relaxing afternoon quiet time gardening in the back yard of her Goffstown home, homeschooling mother of four, Mrs. Starr Skinner happened upon what could possibly be described as the largest stash of stolen girl scout cookies
ever "unearthed" ?.
Yes!, as Mrs. Skinner dug holes and planted her fresh herbs & flowers, she HIT THE MOTHER LOAD!
" all of a sudden I just smelled peppermint, not just any peppermint, not from my fresh herbs, but that distinct, unmistakable decadent heavenly odor of peppermint mixed with chocolate".
She says that as the mouth watering fragrance struck her nose, she began to see boxes in the earth as she dug. she quickened her pace and began jumping with joy in disbelief as she unearthed over 150 boxes of Thin Mints!.
"at first I was in utter disbelief, I began to pick them up out of the ground and wipe the dirt form the boxes, I was overcome with this very deep instinctual urge, to hide them all in the attic and keep this incredible find all to myself!".
She pondered and weighed her options, with much thought and finally the realization that the cookies were probably stolen from some sweet little girl scouts, Starr decided that the best course of action would be to alert the authorities and make them aware of her once in a lifetime fantastical find!.
As the officers on the scene began to remove the boxes from the large hole in the ground, Starr says her eyes welled up with tears and her heart began to become very heavy.
"I just knew that I was doing the right thing, but really? talk about going from cloud nine to facing the hard reality of seeing those Thin Mints being swept away into the trunks of police cruisers, never to be consumed and enjoyed by yours truly?, it crushed me!"
The officers took a very bizarre and one of a kind statement from the homeowner and as Starr adamantly stated,
"they asked some of the most wild, strange and outlandish questions i have ever heard!"
One neighboring tenant declined to be interviewed, However another local resident across the road gave her thoughts on what may have transpired.
as if this incident was not strange enough, speaking with the neighboring tenant, this unique & quite colorful Goffstown native believes,
"this is most certainly an act of God Almighty! those cookies ought to be distributed among the Thin Mint loving residents of elm st."
At this time, there is no break in the case.
Goffstown Police are asking locals to call in with any and all leads or information that may lead to the arrest of the thieving mastermind culprit(s) behind this freakish Thin Mint heist.

There have been no responses or return calls from the local girl scout troop. many attempts to interview or question the troop regarding this incident came up short and empty with no further information.
Some would think that Mrs. Skinner would have gotten some sort of reward at the very least. after all, she did accomplish the bulk of earth removal and deep digging that massive hole in her yard!.
But alas, this painfully honest wife, upright mother and remarkable "Nancy Drew" protege, must try her very best to remain positive and find peace and rest, knowing that she did the "right thing".
just doesn't seem like justice was served here, not even a single cookie!
THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD!.

new york city woman loses her temper, causes black hole to swallow her entire town
Anna, 26, of New York City, DC was in the middle of an argument with a colleague when her temper got so out of control, it formed a small black hole, which demolished the vast majority of her neighborhood. "I just couldn't take it anymore, and unleashed my forces at the person who was irritating me. I had no idea the energy of my rage could cause such destruction," says Anna. Despite the ruination her anger has caused, Anna says she has no regrets. "I actually wish I knew I had this ability sooner!" Anna laughs. "There are a lot of people and things I could have eradicated from my life in this way."

whale spotted in illinois river
A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri.
While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
