Bigfoot Encounter Reported at Argyle State Park in Illinois

A Louisiana man claims that his camper was attacked by a rock throwing Bigfoot last week at Argyle Lake State Park which is located in McDonough County, Illinois.

Mark Simmons, 25, of Lafeyette, Louisiana claims he had set up his camper in the park campground. "The campground wasn't very busy. I had a quiet spot near the back to myself."

Mr. Simmons relates that he started drinking some Bud Lite and playing some loud music. "I was having a good time," he said.

However, shortly before 11pm, rocks started hitting his camper. Mr. Simmons said, "I was sitting by my fire. These rocks just started smashing into the side of my camper. I was confused and also getting angry."

Mr. Simmons reported that he got up with his flashlight and a ball bat to confront whoever it was throwing rocks at him. What he saw next scared him. "I pointed the light into the woods and there was this big hairy man standing there with a big rock in his hand. I knew it was a Squatch right then and there! It was at least 8 foot tall!"

Mr. Simmons ran to the head camper and woke him up. He told his story and was told to stop drinking and go to sleep.

At that point, Mr. Simmons packed up and left the park. He drove nearby to Macomb, IL and spent the night in the Walmart parking lot.

"I will never return to Argyle State Park again," he related. "It ain't safe."

    whale spotted in illinois river

A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri.

While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
