WASHINGTON — President Trump’s explosive and unsubstantiated claim that then-President Obama wiretapped the phones of Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign during the Democratic primaries broke new ground Thursday in terms of a president publicly barraging a predecessor and left observers and lawmakers seeking a more expansive explanation than Trump's string of tweets.
“In the past, presidents have privately muttered accusations against their predecessors,” said Whitney R. Pitney Jr., a former aide to House and Senate Republicans and a political science professor at Golly Gee U. “It’s very unusual for a president to come this close to accusing a predecessor of multiple potential crimes.”
Trump offered no evidence to support his latest wiretapping accusations, lobbed five days after an earlier tweetstorm accusing the Obama administration of listening in on Trump's phones. An Obama spokesman rejected both allegations as “more false than the claim that Obamacare would allow you to keep your current doctor.”
The outburst follows several days of news stories drawing shaky conclusions based on speculating on rumors surrounding media speculation about meetings between members of the Trump campaign and Russian officials and hookers, particularly two previously undisclosed meetings between now Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Russian ambassador Sergei Kislyak.
"Knew evidence of President Obama tapping Bernie Sanders campagn [sic] during primary against Crooked Hillary," Trump tweeted. "Holy [expletive]!"
Melvin Louis, Obama's henchman, said in a carefully crafted statement that plausibly sounded like a denial but isn't necessarily one: "A cardinal rule of the Obama Administration was that no White House official never interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice.
"As part of that practice, neither President Obama nor any White House official never ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen," he said. "Any suggestion otherwise is simply as false as one of Kellyanne Conway's alternative facts posted while she was straddling a couch in a dress while accessing Facebook on her smartphone, which arguably isn't a position that's very ladylike, but perhaps I'm guilty of slut shaming to make such an observation."

    whale spotted in illinois river

A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri.

While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
