After Solorio recieved a tough loss against Mount Carmel, I think it was a game to remember. Adrian Calleros (Coach of the Solorio Varsity team) has said he was very proud of his team, they played and showed what soccer was. "It was honestly a moment the team worked for. What can I say, this team is a close family. They always have each others back but I will never see a bond like this one," said Coach Calleros. Andy Cristobal (Varsity player for Solorio) played all 4 years of high school and started all varsity games. His junior year, he got injured on his right knee against Lane Tech and took him out the rest of the year. "I started wanted to start strong and confident that I can play again and it came out to be even more better than I expected it to be," said Andy. As of today, Andy has been tough situations in life but that hasn't stopped him from playing his best. He has been living alone for 4 years moving from house to house that his friends let him sleep in. Andy grew up playing with San Antonio and Lemont Raiders Fc, who they play for Mount Carmel. "I have honestly been waiting for this game for 4 years to come, facing a team who all there players were people I grew up with was an unexplainable feeling." said Andy. The game was a close nerve racking game. Moises Sanchez was taken by the ambulance as he dislocated his left shoulder in the 73 minute mark. Andy tried helping him out and he just had to back away because it was hurtful to see as Andy explained to us. "I hope he has a really fast recovery, his team won Regionals for him. He makes that team a powerful team." Into 103 minutes of the game, it was a corner kick for Solorio. Andy got rid of his 3 opponents he had on him and header the ball and missed a clear chance. The stands were filled with hopeful people and started to chant "Let's Go Andy".Cesar (Varsity player for Mt.Carmel) scored the winning goal at 112 minutes into the game. After 20 seconds left to the game Andy laid down looking up. Mount Carmel picked up Andy and started clapping for him, like if he was part of the team. Mount Carmel then started taking pictures with him, Andy was full in tears. "I see Andy as a powerful person, which makes him a strong, discipline and committed person to the sport of soccer," said Kurt coach of NIU. After the game has came to an end, we asked Andy how he expected the game to be. "We know it was going to be a hard game, everyone showed their passiong for their sport. We gave it our all but the luck wasn't on our side. I was disappointed in myself, I practiced and practiced so many headers with my team and I missed the chance. What can you say it is what it is." said Andy.

Anna, 26, of New York City, DC was in the middle of an argument with a colleague when her temper got so out of control, it formed a small black hole, which demolished the vast majority of her neighborhood. whale spotted in illinois river

A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri.

While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
